WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Sacrament Meeting - Sundays at 10AM, at the Taylorsville Institute of Religion (chapel), 4554 S 2025 W, Taylorsville, UT 84129.

FHE - Mondays at 7PM, 3120 W 4700 S - unless otherwise indicated on Facebook.

Ward Temple Night - First Thursday of every month, at 4:30PM, any ordinance at the Taylorsville Temple. Appointments are necessary.

Stake Temple Night - Third Saturday of every month from 6-9PM at the Jordan River Temple. All ordinances are available, no appointment needed. Refreshments will be served at the adjacent church building from 7-11PM. 

Institute Night - Wednesday nights @ 7PM, Room 104, Taylorsville Institute of Religion. We meet for Institute classes combined with the Kearns Ward. If Wednesday nights don't work for your schedule, other classes and times can be found here.

Self-Reliance Class: Every Sunday at 12:45pm upstairs in rooms 203-204. Our facilitators are Aimee Gunderson and Lindsey Bateman.

Mingles - Social Gatherings held after church with light refreshments. They occur every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday after church at Noon.

  • NOVEMBER 15TH - Stake Temple Night at JRT
    • Walk-in for any ordinance from 6pm-close. Refreshments served afterward in the church house next door.
  • NOVEMBER 23RD - Discourse & Devotion: Author Jack R. Christianson, 7pm 
  • DECEMBER 6TH - Stake Relief Society Activity, 11am

    Sunday Meeting Schedule

    Sacrament meeting - 10:00AM in the Chapel

    Second Hour - 11:10AM

    • Sunday School (1st and 3rd Sundays) is combined with the Bennion and Jordan River YSA Wards. Rooms 101-103 are the Older Group, and  Rooms 104-106 are the Younger Group.
    • Relief Society/ Elders Quorum (2nd and 4th Sundays) is in the North Hallway, Rooms 102-103.
    • 5th Sundays are combined in the Upstairs Choir Room.

    Appointments

    Appointments will be held on the second floor of the Institute building. The bishop's office is in the southwest corner.

    Who can join a YSA Ward?

    YSA Wards are for single adults aged 18-35, with congregations based on where you live (see map below). YSA Wards provide an opportunity for fellowshipping, service, and learning to live a Christlike life with peers your own age.

    How do I move my records to this ward?

    You can fill out the new member form (the button at the top of this page) or stay after sacrament to talk to our welcoming committee. We can't wait to have you!
